Joining Forces with Hackers for Charity

I’ve known Johnny Long for a few years now and it’s coincidental that we’ve both recently started hacker-related charities. Johnny is a truly sincere, honest, and loyal friend and his team of volunteers at Hackers for Charity are striving to make a difference primarily by providing technology and resources to underprivileged countries. The Hackers for Charity website says it best: In a nutshell, we’re a group of hackers working together in very interesting ways to make a real difference in this world.

Kingpin Empire has donated 144 prototype Rock Logo t-shirts to Johnny’s cause and the shirts will be distributed to kids and adults in some of the most impoverished villages in Africa.

It’s an honor to be able to team up with Hackers for Charity. Our projects reach out to the global community in different ways, but they’re both attempts to make a difference in people’s lives. We’ll be doing some more great stuff together in the future, so keep watching this space.
